1. Purpose

Mira is a parent-controlled web application for children aged 6 to 15. This Policy describes the standards used to protect children, moderate content, and respond to safety concerns.

The best interests, privacy, dignity, and safety of children take priority over engagement or growth metrics.

2. Core Safety Design

Mira applies the following principles:

1. A child cannot create a standalone account.
2. Every Child Profile is subordinate to a Parent Account.
3. Child profiles and media are private by default.
4. Unknown adults cannot openly and directly message children.
5. Sharing controls remain with the Parent.
6. Users can report content or conduct.
7. Mira may use automated and human moderation.
8. Data collection and visibility are minimized by default.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

Mira prohibits:

1. Child sexual abuse or exploitation material.
2. Grooming, sexual solicitation, or attempts to move a child to private external contact.
3. Nudity or sexualized depictions of children.
4. Bullying, harassment, threats, humiliation, hate, or discrimination.
5. Self-harm encouragement, dangerous challenges, or instructions likely to cause serious harm.
6. Graphic violence or content inappropriate for the intended age group.
7. Trafficking, illegal goods, fraud, scams, or financial exploitation.
8. Sharing a child's address, school, precise location, contact details, identity documents, or other high-risk information.
9. Impersonation, account compromise, or attempts to bypass parental controls.
10. Copyright, privacy, or other rights violations.

4. Child Media

Parents must review child media before sharing it beyond a private Child Profile.

Mira may block, blur, limit, or remove media that reveals sensitive information or creates a safety risk, even where the Parent previously approved sharing.

Users must not upload identifiable content about another child unless they have lawful authority and appropriate permission.

5. Communication

Mira does not permit open, unmoderated direct contact between children and unknown adults.

If communication features are introduced, Mira will assess them before launch and apply appropriate:

1. Parent permissions.
2. Age-based restrictions.
3. Content filters.
4. Reporting and blocking.
5. Rate and contact limits.
6. Human escalation.
7. Record retention for serious safety cases.

6. Moderation

Mira may review profiles, captions, images, videos, comments, activity, reports, and technical signals.

Possible actions include:

1. Warning the Parent.
2. Reducing visibility.
3. Rejecting or removing content.
4. Disabling a feature.
5. Suspending or terminating an account.
6. Preserving evidence.
7. Reporting to competent authorities or child-protection bodies where required or reasonably necessary.

Mira does not promise that every harmful item will be detected immediately.

7. Reports and Appeals

Safety concerns should be reported to Support@mira-stages.com.

A useful report includes the account or content involved, what happened, when it happened, and any immediate risk. Do not email unnecessary copies of illegal or highly sensitive child content.

Mira will prioritize reports based on risk. Parents may appeal a moderation decision through the same email address.

8. Imminent Danger

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate law-enforcement or child-protection authority first. Mira support is not an emergency service.

9. Parent Responsibilities

Parents must:

1. Supervise use.
2. Protect Parent Account credentials.
3. Choose conservative visibility settings.
4. Avoid sharing identifying or location information.
5. Review the child's activity.
6. Report unsafe conduct promptly.

10. Updates

Mira may update this Policy as risks, features, and legal requirements evolve. Material reductions in safety protections or material changes involving child data will receive the notice and parental choice required by law.
