1. About These Terms

These Terms govern access to and use of the Mira web application, website, features, content, and related services.

Mira is a parent-controlled platform intended for children aged 6 to 15. The Parent is the primary account holder. A child cannot independently register for Mira, accept these Terms, or create a standalone account. A Child Profile may only be created and managed through a Parent Account.

By creating a Parent Account or Child Profile, the Parent confirms that they:

1. Are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms.
2. Are the child's parent or legal guardian, or otherwise have lawful authority to act for the child.
3. Have read and agree to these Terms and Mira's Privacy Policy.
4. Authorize the Child Profile and the processing needed to provide the requested Mira services.
5. Will supervise the child's use of Mira.

If the Parent does not agree, they must not create a Child Profile or allow the child to use Mira.

3. Global Availability

Mira may be accessible from multiple countries. Availability does not mean that every feature is lawful, appropriate, or supported in every location.

Parents are responsible for using Mira consistently with mandatory laws applicable to them. Mira may restrict a country, account, feature, or category of processing where required for legal, safety, or operational reasons.

Country-specific terms or notices may apply and will form part of these Terms where presented to the Parent.

4. Parent Accounts and Child Profiles

The Parent must provide accurate, current information and keep Parent Account credentials confidential.

The Parent may create one or more Child Profiles for children under their lawful responsibility. A Child Profile may contain a nickname, age or age range, activity history, internal Coins, and media or other content submitted through the Parent Account or an authorized child experience.

Mira may request reasonable verification of the Parent's identity, age, or authority. Identity verification does not by itself prove legal guardianship. Mira may request additional evidence where reasonably necessary.

The Parent must not create a profile for a child where they lack lawful authority.

5. Age Range

Mira is intended for children aged 6 to 15.

A Parent must not create a Child Profile for a child younger than 6. When a child turns 16, Mira may migrate, restrict, or update the profile and consent flow based on applicable law and available product functionality.

6. Parent Responsibilities

The Parent is responsible for:

1. Supervising the child's use of Mira.
2. Selecting appropriate privacy, sharing, and activity settings.
3. Reviewing content before it is uploaded or shared.
4. Not uploading information about other children without proper authority.
5. Keeping contact, school, home address, precise location, and other high-risk information out of public or shared content.
6. Reporting suspected misuse, unsafe content, or unauthorized access.
7. Keeping account and verification information accurate.

Mira's controls do not replace parental supervision.

7. Content and Media

Parents may be able to upload or authorize the upload of photos, videos, captions, activity records, and other media relating to a child.

The Parent retains ownership of content they lawfully submit. The Parent grants Mira a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, moderate, and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to operate the selected Mira features, protect users, and comply with law.

The Parent confirms that they have all rights and permissions needed for submitted content. Content must not:

1. Infringe privacy, intellectual property, publicity, or other rights.
2. Include sexual, exploitative, violent, hateful, bullying, illegal, or dangerous material.
3. Reveal a child's precise location, home address, school details, contact information, or government identifiers.
4. Impersonate, deceive, harass, or endanger another person.
5. Contain malware, fraud, unauthorized advertising, or unlawful commercial material.

8. Visibility and Sharing

Child content is private by default unless a Parent deliberately chooses an available sharing setting.

Mira may require an additional, feature-specific parental confirmation before child media is made visible to other users. A general acceptance of these Terms does not automatically authorize every future public or community use of child media.

Parents can change available visibility settings. Copies already lawfully shared, reported, cached, or retained for security and legal purposes may not disappear immediately.

9. Moderation

Mira may use automated tools, human review, or both to detect, review, restrict, reject, preserve, or remove content and activity.

Mira does not guarantee that all unsafe or inappropriate material will be detected immediately. Users should report concerns to Support@mira-stages.com.

Mira may preserve relevant records and report matters to competent authorities where reasonably necessary to protect a child or comply with law.

10. No Unmoderated Contact With Unknown Adults

Mira does not permit open, unmoderated direct messaging between children and unknown adults.

Any future communication feature must use age-appropriate safeguards, parental controls, reporting, and moderation. Mira may block communication or accounts that present a safety risk.

11. Internal Coins

Mira may provide internal Coins or rewards that users can move or use only within approved Mira experiences.

Coins:

1. Are not money and have no cash value.
2. Cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money.
3. Cannot be transferred outside Mira.
4. Are not cryptocurrency, securities, investments, bank deposits, or regulated financial assets.
5. Do not establish ownership in Mira or any other entity.
6. May be subject to limits, expiry, reversal, suspension, or removal.

Mira currently does not provide a marketplace for buying or selling goods or services and does not process payments between users. Any future paid service, payment feature, or purchase of Coins will require additional terms and notices before activation.

12. Recommendations and Behavioral Insights

Mira may in the future offer parents recommendations or insights based on a child's activities.

Such features are not authorized merely by accepting these Terms. Before enabling a materially new profiling or recommendation purpose involving child data, Mira will provide a clear notice and obtain any separate parental choice or consent required by applicable law.

Mira will not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on a child without appropriate safeguards and a lawful basis.

13. Third-Party Services

Mira may use vetted service providers for hosting, security, email delivery, analytics, crash reporting, moderation, customer support, and technical operations.

Analytics, crash reporting, email, or payment providers that are not yet active will not be treated as authorized merely because they are mentioned in these Terms. Mira will update its Privacy Policy before materially new providers or categories of child-data processing are introduced and will obtain additional consent where required.

Service providers may process data only under appropriate contractual, confidentiality, security, and data-protection obligations.

14. Privacy

Mira's collection, use, storage, disclosure, international transfer, retention, and deletion of personal data are described in the Privacy Policy.

The Parent may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent where applicable by emailing Info@mira-stages.com. Mira may verify the requester's identity and authority before acting.

15. Acceptable Use

No user may:

1. Attempt to bypass parental controls, moderation, security, or access limits.
2. Scrape, harvest, reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload Mira except where law expressly permits.
3. Use Mira to contact, profile, exploit, groom, threaten, or harm a child.
4. Use another person's identity or account without authorization.
5. Manipulate Coins, rankings, activity records, or platform systems.
6. Use Mira for illegal, commercial, political, or advertising activity not expressly approved by Mira.

16. Intellectual Property

Mira and its licensors own the platform software, branding, interface, original content, and related intellectual property, excluding user content.

These Terms give users a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use Mira for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

17. Account Suspension and Termination

Mira may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account or feature where reasonably necessary because of:

1. A breach of these Terms.
2. A child-safety, privacy, fraud, or security risk.
3. Missing, invalid, or withdrawn parental authorization.
4. A legal or regulatory requirement.
5. Prolonged inactivity or service discontinuation.

The Parent may request closure of the Parent Account or a Child Profile through available account tools or Support@mira-stages.com.

18. Service Changes and Availability

Mira may improve, add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. Mira does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or universally available service.

Where a change materially affects paid rights, child privacy, or required consent, Mira will provide the notice and choices required by applicable law.

19. Changes to These Terms

Mira may update these Terms and will publish the current version and effective date.

For non-material changes, such as formatting, clarification, contact updates, or changes that do not reduce user rights or introduce a new data purpose, Mira may provide notice without requesting a new acceptance.

For material contractual changes, Mira may require the Parent to accept the updated Terms before continued use.

For a material change to the collection, use, disclosure, profiling, or public sharing of child personal data, Mira will provide a direct notice and obtain renewed or separate parental consent where required. Continued use alone will not be treated as consent where affirmative consent is legally required.

20. Disclaimers

Mira is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Mira disclaims implied warranties that may lawfully be excluded.

Mira aims to provide an age-appropriate and parent-controlled environment but cannot guarantee that every technical issue, misuse, or inappropriate item will be prevented. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer guarantees.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mira and the Operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where applicable, or mandatory privacy and consumer-protection obligations.

22. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.

Subject to mandatory consumer and child-protection rights in the user's country of residence, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of the Sultanate of Oman.

Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of non-waivable protections or a forum they are entitled to under applicable local law.

24. Signup Confirmation

The required signup confirmation should state:

I confirm that I am at least 18 and am the parent or legal guardian of the child profile(s) I create. I agree to Mira's Parent Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

A separate required parental authorization should state:

I authorize Mira to create and operate my child's profile and to process the child's information for the core services described in the Privacy Policy. I understand that I can manage the profile and withdraw consent or request deletion, subject to applicable law.

Optional processing, including public sharing of child media and future behavioral recommendations, must use separate controls when introduced.
